UCLan’s ‘RESET’ Fashion Show to Get a New Start as We Enter a ‘New Normal’

The final year fashion promotion students at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) are holding a charity fashion show to raise funds for Papyrus (Youth Suicide Prevention).


The show is called ‘RESET’ and will take place on Thursday 2nd December.

This is the first fashion show graduating students have been able to host since the start of the pandemic, so organizers wanted to focus on the ‘new normal’ as a theme, as the pandemic has prompted many to reassess what is significant.

RESET will adopt the idea of ​​a “blank canvas”.

Along with the fashion show itself, the students also work with a number of local businesses, graduate artists and artisans to organize a pop-up shop throughout the evening to encourage attendees to make their own. local shopping this Christmas.

All RESET tickets include a complimentary drink on arrival and access to the pop-up shop.

There will also be a raffle on the night of the event with prizes graciously donated by The Body Shop, Costa Coffee, JD and a number of Preston-based small businesses – there is a lot to be won, all to benefit charity. .
