MatchesFashion appoints new chief commercial officer in management shake-up

Luxury fashion retailer Matchesfashion has appointed Carl Tallents as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

This is the second management change following the arrival of new CEO Nick Beighton.

Tallents comes from Frasers Group, where he has served as Group Head of Luxury Brands for the past six years. He replaces Elizabeth Von Der Goltz, who is stepping down as Chief Commercial Officer.

Commenting on his new role, Tallents said he was “delighted to be working alongside Nick to help deliver the next phase of growth for Matchesfashion”.

Beighton said: “Carl is a fantastic addition to our management team. We remain focused on our ambition to be THE luxury destination for customers around the world. Carl brings deep experience and leadership that will be invaluable as we enter our next phase of growth. »

Former Asos CEO Nick Beighton joined Matchesfashion as managing director in August. He then made a number of hires, including appointing former Asos and Farfetch logistics manager Stuart Hill as chief operating officer (COO), effective September.
