Louis Vuitton appoints new communications director

Marquis will assume the responsibilities previously assumed by Benjamin Cercio.

Louis Vuitton has appointed Youssef Marquis as the new Fashion Communication Director, effective January 3.

Marquis will be based in Paris and will report to Stefano Cantino, vice president of communications and events at Louis Vuitton.

His duties will include defining press strategy, developing the house’s relationships with international celebrities and influencers and overseeing all fashion events.


He will assume the responsibilities previously assumed by Benjamin Cercio, who was international director of press influence and entertainment relations.

Marquis obtained a diploma in corporate communication from the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences de l’Information et de la Communication, starting his career in 2009 at Givenchy, another brand belonging to LVMH. He will eventually be promoted to director of communications at Givenchy.
