Judy Gibbons – Chicago Agent Magazine

After a successful career in the fashion industry in New York, Judy Gibbons returned home to Chicago. “My dad was an entrepreneur and always told me I could be or do whatever I wanted in this world,” she says. “I happened to believe him.” A broker at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, she has been in the industry for 17 years and believes that owning real estate creates wealth. “I walk the walk and talk the talk,” she says. As a successful rental property owner and Airbnb host, Gibbons’ goals include creating a legacy for his family.

Raised in Barrington, Gibbons specializes in the sale of luxury homes, equestrian properties and second homes in the northwest suburbs, Chicago and Harbor Country Michigan. “Social media has been great for being able to stay in touch, especially during COVID,” she says. With 30,000 followers across multiple platforms, she believes everything she does is worth celebrating, hence her adopted tagline “#celebrateeverything”.

Known for her expert advice, Gibbons’ style is simple. “I have first-hand experience and knowledge. I care about my clients, with my concierge service for every client at all costs, which is a winning combination,” she says. With determination, energy and dynamism, she treats others with respect because she believes in karma. “I’ve made some of my best friends and feel so much joy helping people with their real estate needs,” she adds. “We all know that relationships make the world go round.”

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty named Gibbons a Platinum Award Winner in 2021. She ranked in the top 50 in the company. She is a Past President of the Women’s Council of Realtors Chicago, where she was named Fellow of the Year for 2019. Also a member of the National Association of Realtors, she proudly served as Co-Chair of their Field Museum Sale Awards this year and directs a working group for NAR’s Leading Edge Advisory Board. She belongs to the Service Club of Chicago, a voluntary women’s charity that began in 1890. “I like to surround myself with some of the smartest women in Chicago,” she says.
