The news comes as another retailer has closed for good less than three years after opening at Festival Place.
British lifestyle brand Joules closed its Basingstoke store on August 26, after opening in December 2019.
The company issued a statement in August confirming that it is in talks with Next to support the group’s “long-term growth plans” and a possible stake, which would make Next a “strategic minority shareholder”.

“However, we are in advanced talks with another much-loved brand, Ted Baker, who we hope will add to our retail offering at Festival Place. So watch this space.
