Fashion industry is looking for new talent at JK
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Aug 9 (ANI): Shortly after the launch of the new film policy, the fashion industry is now looking for new faces and talent in Jammu and Kashmir.
A fashion company, Dernier Cri, organized a hearing for young people from the Union Territory on Sunday.
Speaking to ANI, Purva Prabha, the event coordinator, said, âJammu and Kashmir is full of talented people. This is a new beginning, we are providing a platform for young people to show their talent. Professionals in the fashion industry come from outside, this will give us more opportunities. “
“Kashmir has beautiful places where we can make films. I urge young people to come and show their talent,” Samarth Gupta, actor and judge, said at the hearing.
âThe arts platform is beautiful in itself, such platforms will be good for the economy and tourism. People here are very talented,â said Aryan Sharma, a model at the hearing.
Earlier, on August 5, the new film policy for the territory of the Union was unveiled. The policy aims to promote film production by providing suitable facilities and a secure environment for filmmakers, according to a statement.
For the unknown, superstar Aamir Khan and his ex-wife producer-director Kiran Rao who are currently filming for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in Ladakh, recently met JK Lt Governor in Raj Bhavan to discuss the new film policy. Bollywood has already started looking for stage sets for future film projects in Kashmir. (ANI)
