MONTREAL, September 18, 2022 /CNW/ — Comexposium UNITED STATES is pleased to organize its first event in Montreal on September 18-19e2022. The show was originally scheduled for 2020, but due to the pandemic and travel restrictions it has been postponed.
Curve Montreal coincides with Montreal Fashion Week September 19e at 25e.

Mathieu St-Arnaud President of MMode, an organization whose goal is to bring together players in the Quebec fashion industry, and his team were very supportive of holding a Curve event in Montreal,” says Raphael Camp, President of Curve. “Canada was on a very strict lockdown, so this is the first time many retailers have travelled. Expectations are quite high as the Canadian lingerie community is eager to network and have the chance to preview the collections more locally. We bring the curated Curve experience of over 50 top intimate apparel and swimwear collections to Montreal with many opportunities to discover new designers and learn new business strategies. We are delighted to present the MRKNTN brand, which has been selected as one of the 10 talented designers for the prestigious make the cut reality TV fashion contest. By introducing new talent, we are listening to market demands.”

“Buying is still the focus of Curve shows, however, post-Covid retailers are hungry for experiences. As a result, panels and special networking events have become just as important,” says Kirsten Griffin, Director of Communication and Visitor Promotion. “After 2 years of closure, buyers want to feel connected to the lingerie community, create memories and have fun too. We have worked hard to find a nice balance at the next Curve Montreal. The show will open with the keynote speaker Gilbert Russell from No Qualms Retail discussing profitability and growth for 2023 and in the afternoon, Elomi, Freya, Goddess and Fantasie will lead a fitness workshop. On monday september 19e shoppers are invited to kick off Montreal Fashion Week with a special panel on diversity and inclusivity, co-hosted by MMode. The highlight of the show will be an invitation-only dinner cruise on the Bateau Mouche. “
