Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Titan Company Ltd (+4.07%), Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd (+3.72%), Voltas Ltd (+2.18%), Whirlpool of India Ltd (+1.94%), Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd (up 1.61%) was the main gainer. Other winners include Havells India Ltd (+1.27%), Blue Star Ltd (+0.87%), Amber Enterprises India Ltd (+0.85%), Rajesh Exports Ltd (+0.63%) and Bajaj Electricals Ltd (+0.42%). ).

In contrast, Sheela Foam Ltd (down 0.53%) and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd (down 0.35%) declined.

As of 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 503.13 or 0.98% at 52100.97.

The Nifty 50 index rose 123 points or 0.8% to 15473.15.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap Index rose 333.51 points or 1.42% to 23755.67.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index rose 87.59 points or 1.19% to 7461.11.

On the BSE, 2052 stocks were trading green, 702 were trading red and 90 were unchanged.
